Product description

The Varia AKU Scale has been designed to fit a variety of working environments. Wether you are working in a high-end espressobar or brewing coffee at home, the AKU scale provides! This scale features both auto-tare/timing modes for espresso and pour over, as well as manual modes so you are able to control every variable to perfection.

Weighing precision 

The AKU is equipped with a very sensitive and accurate load cell, with an accuracy of 0.1g across the entire weighing range (up to 3.1kg). Use the included non-slip mat to ensure stability and precision while making adjustments.

Build to last

The display of this scale works very intuitive and is made with ultra clear 9-digit LED. The battery of the Varia AKU lasts about 300 brewing cycles, so you rarely have to worry about charging. It takes about two hours to fully recharge, using a USB-C connection.

Moreover, working in an espressobar can be busy and messy at times. Therefore, this scale is water resistant and protected against low pressure water streams from every angle.

Compact, snel en nauwkeurig. De Varia AKU is perfect voor espresso en pour-over. Strak design en fijne bediening. Aanrader!

Neat small, with good clear display. Several useful modes, and comes with 100 gm calibration weight and carrying case. Well finished. SO far, so good. Better thanks my unreliable TImemore (not bought at Blommers!

Eenvoudig in gebruik. Snel en accuraat. Echter is de flow control stand en de auto timer wel dubbel want zodra je je kopje erop zet gaat ie naar nul en begint de timer. Maar als je je koffie aan t afwegen bent is het niet handig dat ie dan automatisch op nul gaat. Hierdoor moet je wisselen tussen standen, waardoor je de geadvanceerde functies toch minder gebruikt. Verder top! Super blij mee.

Ik had iets teveel water gebruikt voor het schoonmaken van mijn Timemore Black Mirror Basic +. Misschien komt het nog goed maar ik kan niet zonder accurate weegschaal. Via een kennis kreeg ik de AKU getipt. als je niet gelijk 200-300 euro wilt uitgeven aan een Acaia, is de AKU echt een premium weegschaal. Behuizing van metaal, knoppen reageren goed en ook valt me op hoe vloeiend de cijfers lopen tijdens het zetten van mijn espresso. Verder zit er een gewicht bij zodat je hem zelf kun kalibreren. Uitstekende prijs-kwaliteitverhouding.
