Thanks to its fast heat-up time of just 3 seconds, the automatic steam wand, and simple controls, you can start brewing coffee immediately without complicated settings. You don’t need any barista experience to make a full-flavored and satisfying espresso or cappuccino. For beginners, the machine offers an excellent combination of speed, ease of use, and consistent results, making it easy to experiment with coffee variations at home.
How does espresso extraction work on the Bambino Plus?
The Bambino Plus uses a 15-bar Italian pump and digital temperature control for precise extraction. First, a short pre-infusion at low pressure evenly wets the coffee. This is followed by high-pressure extraction at 9 bars, producing a rich flavor and beautiful crema. The 54mm portafilter and ideal 19-gram dose contribute to a powerful, complex espresso.
Can I adjust the shot volumes?
Yes, the Bambino Plus comes with preset volumes for single and double espresso shots. These volumes can be adjusted by turning off the machine, holding down the 1-cup and 2-cup buttons for 5 seconds, and then selecting the desired water volume by pressing the corresponding button. This allows you to customize the strength and amount of espresso according to your personal preference.
