This coffee is produced by Adriano Muñiz on Agropecuária Muñiz, located in Cabo Verde, Sul de Minas, Brazil. The farm sits at the heart of a region known for its balanced profiles and smooth mouthfeel. Since 1965, the Muñiz family has cultivated coffee across 109 hectares of land, combining tradition with an eye for innovation. Adriano continues this legacy by investing in processing infrastructure and varietal research. His work has earned him a place among the most forward-thinking producers in the area, with recognition from regional quality competitions.
This coffee opens with deep notes of red fruits like grape, cherry, and strawberry. Expect a round yet fresh fruit acidity. Notes of chocolate and dried fig lead to a long, structured finish.
This coffee is cultivated in the forested highlands of Sunda, West Java, where volcanic soils meet rice terraces. Grown under the shade of pine, eucalyptus, erythrine, and avocado trees, it’s a blend of Typica, Line S, and Catimor. The producers are part of the Klasik Beans cooperative, a collective founded in 2008 with a philosophy rooted in quality, sustainability, and respect for both people and land.
