No. Temperature profiling as offered by a Decent espresso machine (for example the DE1) is not possible. The Lita LA uses boilers rather than thermoblocks and has a saturated group head, which gives a stable, consistent temperature. On top of that, the dual boiler lets you pull espresso and steam milk at the same time.

Yes. The Lita LA has a separate coffee boiler and steam boiler, each with its own temperature control. The steam boiler temperature sets the steam power at the wand. Thanks to the dual boiler you can pull espresso and steam milk at the same time.

The coffee boiler reaches temperature in about 3.5 minutes and the steam boiler in about 4.5 minutes. For the best flavour from the saturated group head, allow the machine 10 to 15 minutes to warm through fully.

You use your own Android or Apple phone or tablet with the free E-bar app. You need the app to set the machine up the first time; after that you can use the Lita LA without the app if you prefer. A Bluetooth scale (such as the Bookoo scale) is optional and not included.

The Lita LA uses a 58 mm portafilter. As standard you get a bottomless portafilter (no double-spout version), filter baskets, a blind filter, a tamper, a milk jug and a shot glass.
