DO YOU HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT THIS PRODUCT?
Our coffee expert is happy to help you!
This coffee is cultivated in the forested highlands of Sunda, West Java, where volcanic soils meet rice terraces. Grown under the shade of pine, eucalyptus, erythrine, and avocado trees, it’s a blend of Typica, Line S, and Catimor. The producers are part of the Klasik Beans cooperative, a collective founded in 2008 with a philosophy rooted in quality, sustainability, and respect for both people and land.
Grown at altitudes between 1,200 and 1,500 meters, the cherries are handpicked during the May to September harvest. They are then processed using the natural method and dried on raised beds. The cooperative maintains three central processing stations: Pacet, Ciwidey, and Garut, and collaborates with over 200 smallholder farmers. Shade-grown and forest-integrated, this coffee is a reflection of its unique terroir.
Rich and fruity, from the Sunda Highlands, with deep notes of red and dried fruits, and a long, chocolatey finish.
