MHW-3Bomber X-press58 Cordless Espresso Maker

MHW-3Bomber X-press58 Espresso Maker

The X-press58 is a portable, battery-powered espresso maker that pulls a full shot anywhere, with no mains socket and no lever. Where a manual espresso maker has you pumping by hand, a built-in pump does the work here. It takes a standard 58mm basket, the same size as professional machines, so your 58mm tamper, distribution tool and dosing funnel simply fit.

The pump builds a working pressure of 9 bar and peaks at 20 bar. With the 1-touch operation you choose whether to brew with water that is already hot, or let the machine heat the water itself. You set the temperature to suit the coffee you are making.

That choice decides how far the 13,500mAh battery takes you. With hot water from the kettle or a flask you get around 500 shots per charge. Let the machine heat cold water and you get 4 to 7. So when travelling, at the office or camping, bring hot water if you can.
