The Rain is a water splitter that sits on top of your dripper, not a dripper itself. Instead of pouring straight onto the coffee bed, you pour into the splitter, which drops the water through 31 finely drilled holes like an even rain over the grounds. The whole bed wets at the same moment and the water flows through evenly, which makes your extraction more balanced and easier to repeat.

The height adjusts steplessly, so you set the drop distance of the water and match the flow to your brew and your grind. A built-in scale shows how much water is sitting in the splitter, so you build your pours in a controlled way. It fits a V60, a Kalita and most other common pour-over drippers.

The splitter takes much of your pouring technique out of the equation, so you get an evenly wetted bed even without a steady hand. For anyone standardising their filter coffee or running workshops, that keeps the differences between brews small. It is made from Tritan, which is BPA-free, heat-resistant and rinses clean with warm water. Keep it away from heat sources such as a hob, as it can deform there.
