This coffee is produced by Nazimu Abamecho. A producer who is a highly respected coffee professional. In order to showcase the best of the Jimma region, Nazimu managed the Duromina cooperative. Now he is focussing on the production of high quality coffee on his own farm. This coffee comes from his farm in the Jimma Appellation and the plants are growing in a natural forest.
The cherries are harvested and hand sorted and processed by the utmost respect and knowledge. The coffee undergoes a dry fermentation process where the coffee cherry, with all the fruit pulp still attached, is simply put in the sun to dry. The cherries are then moved frequently and will be covered during the hottest hours of the day to protect the cherries from intense sunlight, then again at night to protect against humidity.
The beauty of this coffee lies in the perfect reflection of the origin. It is delicate, complex and sweet. Expect soft florals, stone fruits and juiciness. We roast this coffee towards his ultimate potential of sweetness and fruitiness.
