A not so classic Brazil. Comfy, creamy and sweet as usual but accompanied by funk and fruityness.

Producer and Region

Sitio Bela Vista is located in Lambari, which is right in the middle of the Mantiqueira mountains. Rodrigo is the 5th generation and manages the farm together with his father Jose and his brother, Marcio.

Rodrigo is dedicated to producing high quality coffee but is also taking care of his environment by preserving the natural forest. Last year he set up a quality lab to improve his quality control and he is planning to build African-style dry beds to make the drying even better. 

Processing

The carefully picked mature cherries are fermented for 72 hours before drying them on the patio. Because this fermentation takes longer than usual this process is called Extended Natural. It gives this coffee a sweet and wild character.

Flavour

You can expect a very comfy cup which you might know from the usual Brazil, but this time with a very fruity and funky extra layer. Balanced, sweet and funky in black drinks and comfy, sweet and cake-like in milk beverages.
