This washed coffee offers a classic Ethiopian flavor profile. It is floral, fruity, has a nice acidity and low body. The coffee comes from the Adola district where the quality has been improving in recent years.
Sidamo is divided into 4 flavor characteristics which are indicated by the letters A, B, C and D. This flavor profile fits perfectly into the Sidamo-A profile due to its sweet notes of yellow fruit such as apricot and peach. Sidamo- A flavor profiles are mostly found in the Guji region (Woreda district, Odo Shakiso, Uraga, Hambela, Kercha, Adola and Anassora) and the Sidamo region (Bensa, chire and Aroressa).
