El Salvador - El Martillo (Anaerobic Natural)

El Salvador - El Martillo (Anaerobic Natural)
A wild, funky and boozy sensation.
Right in the middle of the outstanding mountains of the Apaneca Ilamatepec region the farm El Martillo is situated at the high altitude of 1700 masl. El Martillo is the 6th generation coffee farm managed by Jose Antonio, Andres and Jose Salaverria.
Famous for their high quality naturals.
At El Martillo they mainly grow the varieties Bourbon and the hybrid HSF (a hybrid from Pacas and Bourbon Elite). They are true masters in excellent processing and are famous for their high quality naturals.
On the boozy and fermenty side
This particular coffee popped out of the cupping table big time! It's a very process driven anaerobic natural which is on the boozy and fermenty side. At the same time it is transparent and very complex.
You can expect a very sweet and funky coffee which represents ripe tropical fruits, booziness and dark cherries.
